Dutch alternative rock band Nemesea released their fourth album, Uprise, on April 29 via Napalm Records which we featured on the site last month. Recently Manda, Sonny and HJ took some time to talk to Femetalism about the new album and the bands plans for the future.
Thanks for taking the time to talk to Femetalism. For those readers who might not know the band, can you introduce yourselves and tell us a little about the band and how you came to be?
Hi and thanks for the questions :) Well, Nemesea is a rock band coming from the Netherlands. We started the band back in 2002. During our first years we toured with After Forever and recorded a symphonic metal-oriented album called 'Mana'. After that we decide to head into another direction and chose release an album through an online-crowd funding company called Sellaband. The result was a more rock-oriented album with lots of electronic influences called 'In Control'. A few years later we performed a couple of unique live shows in omni-surround/ 9.1 and released this on cd and 5.1 dvd. A few years ago we signed with NapalmRecords and released our 3rd studio album called 'The Quiet Resistance'. Since April 2016 there is the newest release called 'Uprise'.
