Having first seen Bad Pollyanna back in 2010 supporting The Birthday Massacre, I have long since wanted to see them live again. For a variety of reasons this just hasn't happened, until last night. Bad Pollyanna announced an acoustic gig in Huddersfield on a date I could actually make and so I grabbed some tickets.
The plan? An intimate group of up to 50 people, in a residential property just outside Huddersfield listening to Bad Pollyanna perform some of their great songs acoustically. Can't go wrong eh?
It was a great evening with one of Olivia Hyde's very talented vocal students providing the warm up set and with a guest appearance from Tank of Leeds based rock band Chasing Dragons.
They performed loads of the bands tracks, plus some great covers all presented acoustically in a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.
Check out some more of the photos we snapped during the evening.
Bad Pollyanna's debut album is currently available from Bandcamp.
