Valkyrian Festival Preview 2015 - Operatic Power Progressive Metallers Aonia

With just a month to go until the last ever Valkyrian Festival to be held at The Riverside and The Venue in Selby, Yorkshire, we are starting to get just a little bit excited here at Femetalism.

As official sponsors of the event we thought it appropriate to feature, in no particular order, some of the bands that will be making up the festival line-up.

Today we have selected Aonia who will be playing the Valhalla Stage.

The 7-headed, 14-legged creation that is Aonia comprises a dual-wield of 'sopranos with balls' as vocalists, along with shredding twin axes, symphonic keys and driving drums and bass - for fans of power metal, progressive metal and NWOBHM.

Aonia released their second EP, Sunchaser in July 25th, 2014 and this year hosted their very own festival; Aonia Fest as well as embarking on their first headline UK tour.
